We are recruiting a new Chair and Trustees to help shape our future.

FASD Awareness is looking for dedicated and experienced Trustees to become part of our Board, aiding in the strategic leadership of a nationally acclaimed, award-winning charity focused on enhancing outcomes for individuals and families impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).

Chair of the Board of Trustees to offer strategic leadership to a well-established, award-winning charity at a crucial stage in its development. This is a distinctive opportunity to advocate for an important cause and influence the future of support, awareness, and advocacy concerning Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).

Trustees committed and proficient in bolstering the strategic leadership of the Chair and CEO, who can aid in enhancing and directing the charity as we broaden our influence, while working to better the outcomes for individuals and families impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in fundraising, social care, or safeguarding, who can assist in enhancing and directing the charity as we expand our influence.

Why become a Trustee?

Individuals choose to volunteer and take on trustee roles with FASD Awareness to create a significant impact on the lives of those impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. By contributing their time, skills, and personal experiences, they help increase awareness, diminish stigma, and enhance the understanding of FASD.

Trustees are essential in steering our vision, ensuring effective governance, and aiding the sustainable growth of FASD Awareness. Collectively, they ensure that voices are acknowledged, support is available, and awareness translates into tangible change.

As a Trustee, you will need to commit to attending quarterly board meetings (3 hours each), and representing and supporting the charity at various events and meetings as and when required. This is a voluntary role, with agreed expenses payable.
