For us, one of the most important parts of raising awareness of FASD is making sure people living with FASD have opportunities to be heard.
FASD: In Their Own Words puts lived experience at the heart of the conversation. It gives viewers an opportunity to listen, learn and gain a better understanding of FASD from the people whose experiences matter most.
We hope the film will be watched by families, carers, professionals and anyone wanting to understand more about FASD. We also hope it will help open conversations, increase understanding and encourage people to look beyond the challenges associated with FASD and listen to individual experiences.
