Celebrate FASD Awareness Month with us

This September, we’re inviting families, friends, and supporters to come together for a day filled with fun, community, and purpose.
✨ Join us for our Red Shoes Leeds Castle Family Activity Day📅 Sunday 21st September🕚 11:00am – 3:00pm📍 Leeds Castle, Kent
A Day for Everyone
Our Family Activity Days are designed to bring joy, connection, and support to families living with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). From exciting outdoor adventures to creative workshops and interactive games, there will be something for all ages to enjoy.
These activity days aren’t just about having fun—they’re also about building friendships, sharing experiences, and reminding every family that they’re not alone.
Why Red Shoes?
You may notice a lot of red shoes on the day! The Red Shoes Rock campaign is an international movement to raise awareness of FASD. By wearing red shoes, we start conversations, challenge stigma, and stand in solidarity with those living with FASD.
FASD Awareness Month – Raising Voices, Raising Funds
September is FASD Awareness Month, and our Leeds Castle event is part of our wider #BeAware campaign. Together, we’re raising awareness of FASD and generating vital funds to support families across the UK.
Your support helps us:
Run friendship and support groups
Host family activity days like this one
Provide training, education, and resources to the wider community
Every conversation matters. Every step in red shoes makes a difference.
Be Part of the Day
Bring your family, wear your red shoes, and enjoy a day of connection and celebration at Leeds Castle. Whether you’ve been with us before or are new to FASD Awareness UK, we can’t wait to welcome you.
