Fundraising Dinner Raises £1400 + for FASD Awareness
On Thursday 17th September, supporters came together at the wonderful Tarana Restaurant, Rainham, for a memorable evening of great food, outstanding music, fundraising and awareness raising in support of FASD Awareness UK.
Guests enjoyed a delicious two-course meal and were treated to exceptional entertainment from the incredibly talented CEO of FASD Awareness Andrew Keeping. His stunning guitar performance provided the perfect soundtrack to the evening and was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
The event was organised by FASD Awareness supporter Tracey Scott Fox, whose dedication and hard work helped make the evening such a success. We were delighted to welcome Tracy, Founder of FASD Awareness UK, Andrew, CEO of the organisation, Catherine, Engagement Co-ordinator, and Steven and Sonny, FASD Awareness Ambassadors. Their presence gave guests the opportunity to learn more about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and the vital work being carried out to support individuals and families affected by the condition.
A highlight of the evening was our fundraising raffle, which featured a wonderful selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses, organisations and supporters. The raffle proved extremely popular and contributed significantly to the fundraising total. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who donated prizes and to all those who purchased raffle tickets in support of the cause.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated and supported the event, over £1,400 was raised for FASD Awareness UK. These funds will help the charity continue its essential work in raising awareness, providing support, delivering education and advocating for those affected by FASD.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, Tarana Restaurant for hosting us, Andrew Keeping for his outstanding musical performance, and all the businesses and individuals who contributed raffle prizes and donations.
The evening was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together for a common purpose. Not only did we raise valuable funds, but we also helped spread awareness and understanding of FASD, making a real difference to the lives of those affected.
