About FASD Awareness
FASD Awareness was established by two Kent foster carers Tracy Allen & Andrew Keeping in 2018 to support the FASD community and raise awareness of Prenatal Alcohol Exposure (PAE) and Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD)
Over the last six years, they have grown from a small local initiative into a national charity offering crucial and life changing guidance and support to individuals living with FASD and their families and networks. Their #BeAware campaign of educational films, webinars, training, and case studies are shared worldwide on social media and as training tools.
This family-focused organisation puts the lived experience at the heart of all they do, by running support groups, activity days, Neuro cafe, 1-2-1 sessions and FASD friendship groups. Listening to those with the lived experience has helped them develop the charity and use their voice to forge future FASD pathways.
