Celebrating Community Spirit: Kent Community Foundation’s 25th Anniversary and Photo Competition Win!

Last Thursday, 9^th April we were honoured to attend the 25^th anniversary celebration of The Kent Community Foundation, held at the vibrant Turner Gallery on Margate seafront. The event brought together local organisations, supporters, and community leaders for an afternoon filled with inspiration, and the sharing of success stories from across the county. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow attendees, reflect on the Foundation’s achievements over the past quarter-century, and learn more about their ongoing initiatives supporting communities in Kent.

During the ceremony, we were delighted to accept an award on behalf of our CEO, Andrew Keeping, whose photograph of our lively tug of war at the 2025 Easter Family Activity Day was selected as the winner of Kent Community Foundation’s annual photo competition. The image perfectly captured the energy and camaraderie of the day, and its recognition was a proud moment for our team. The award was presented amidst much applause, and Andrew’s contribution was highlighted as an example of the Foundation’s commitment to celebrating community spirit.
