OUR EVENTS

We're always running events to support those living with FASD and spread awareness.

Monday 20th September
Annual General Meeting (AGM)

On Monday 20th September we enjoyed our supporters event entitled “Look How Far We’ve Come” and AGM. We were delighted to welcome the Worshipful the Mayor of Medway Cllr Jan Aldous who gave a heart-warming introduction & Consort Cllr Wendy Purdy (FASD Awareness Trustee).

We launched an emotive case study film, introduced Michael Griffiths (Clinical Commissioning Officer) to talk about the Kent & Medway FASD System Partnership group, welcomed our new Chair Irene Hall, and thanked Wendy Spears for all her hard work as Vice Chair from the start of the Charity and more recently as temporary Chair.

We wish her the best of luck in her retirement in Australia. One of the most obvious aspects of the evening was the amazing sense of teamwork and fun that everyone involved in the charity feels. We were also able to thank all our valuable volunteers.

The evening was the perfect opportunity (at last) to be able to meet with trustees, volunteers, ambassadors, donors and supporters face to face at the Oast Community Centre in Rainham.

Thursday 21st October
