Wendy Spears

Trustee – Safeguarding/Policies

Wendy runs her own foster agency All 4 U. She worked for an independent fostering provider for many years as Head of Referrals and later managing a centre.
Wendy spent her younger years living and working in off-licences and pubs until she became a mum. Wendy has been a foster carer since 1989 and a social worker since 1998. Her significant life experience and working with children and families has helped Wendy to understand the impact of alcohol on families.
Wendy brings to the Charity a wealth of knowledge and expertise and is passionate about raising awareness of FASD, helping to discover more about the condition and obtaining effectual diagnosis.
