FASD Awareness South East would like to thank everyone for their kind donations in memory of John Henderson (Spider).
Your donations have enabled us to continue funding our #BeAware campaign offering support, education, training, research and information on Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
FASD Awareness South East’s journey started in 2016. John’s children, Rosie and Steven, helped raise funds and awareness of FASD which enabled us to become a registered charity in February 2018. They are now both proud FASD Awareness SE Ambassadors and we know John would be very proud of all his children, turning such a tragic situation into something positive that benefits so many people.
Please continue to join us on our #BeAware campaign and make even more of a difference by sharing on all your social media platforms our 2 new FASD films to help raise awareness – www.fasdawareness.org.uk/beawarevideo
FASD Awareness South East have exciting opportunities available to further our reach. We would love to hear from anyone who would be interested in finding out more about getting involved with our charity:
If time and your other commitments stop you from giving a little back, maybe you could consider becoming an FASD champion by making a small monthly donation to help us deliver our #BeAware awareness talks to schools and colleges. This project aims to educate and support the next generation of parents, by providing them with information on alcohol-free pregnancy and the risks of drinking alcohol during pregnancy. You can make a one-off donation or set up a monthly donation by visiting our website on this link: www.fasdawareness.org.uk/donate.
Please contact us if you would like more information, an application form or to register your interest in becoming an FASD Champion.
Thank you once again for your support, with very best wishes.
