On the 13th February 2026

Our next FASD Neuro Café takes place on Thursday 13th February, offering a welcoming and supportive space for individuals with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), parents, carers, and supporters to connect in person. Held in a relaxed café setting, this monthly meet-up provides an opportunity to share experiences, gain practical insight, and enjoy friendly conversation. Whether you are newly exploring an FASD diagnosis or have years of lived experience, the Neuro Café is open to all who are part of the FASD community.
Welcome to the FASD Awareness Neuro Café, a warm, inclusive monthly meet-up where people affected by Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), their families, carers, and allies can connect, share experiences, and find practical support. Whether you’re seeking advice on diagnosis, education, wellbeing, or simply friendships, the Neuro Café offers a safe and understanding space just for you.
A Community-Focused Gathering with Purpose
Running monthly sessions at Jaspers Community Café in Rochester, Kent, the Neuro Café is designed to address the real-world challenges faced by individuals living with FASD and those who support them. Attendees can chat about a wide range of relevant topics, including:
FASD diagnosis and strategies
Education, EHCPs and school support
Sleep, medication and sensory challenges
Wellbeing, socialising and self-care
Benefits, finances and family life
Relationships, safeguarding and capacity issues.
The environment is relaxed and welcoming with coffee, cake, and meaningful conversations, helping participants feel heard, understood and empowered.
Why the Neuro Café Matters
Living with FASD can often feel isolating due to the hidden nature of the condition and the lack of widespread awareness and understanding. The Neuro Café bridges that gap by:
✔ Providing friendly peer support in person
✔ Offering advice from others with lived experience
✔ Connecting families, carers, and professionals
✔ Creating a supportive community where everyone belongs.
By encouraging conversation around diagnosis, strategies and everyday life, the group helps reduce isolation and builds confidence in navigating FASD-related challenges.
