Lyndon joined the Metropolitan Police Service in 1988, retiring in 2018 after 30 years’ public service.
 

During his time within policing he worked with young and vulnerable people on a range of projects which led to better community outcomes, lowering crime, and diverting offenders away from harmful criminal behaviours. He has led the national implementation strategy for the creation of the Vetting & Barring Service, led policing on the National Offender Management Service and has worked to improve outcomes for domestic abuse cases.
 

He now works as a senior technical project delivery manager in the digital data and technology field, with extensive expertise in change management, as well as stakeholder engagement, capabilities delivery and benefit realisation.
